Jaimal Yogis at Lululemon! And a book giveaway…

Hi you guys!

Sooo, that famous author, the guy who wrote Saltwater Buddha? Yes, Jaimal Yogis! He came to Melbourne last week, and did an event at the brand-spanking new lululemon in Bourke Street.

He started off with a water meditation, which I loved, and have been using in some form for most of the week. Then, he read a chapter from his lovely book, and afterwards was time for questions, book signing, and general mingling. The lulu girls put on a great spread – tropical fruit skewers and virgin pina coladas (still tasty, despite being alcohol-free).

After the event, a group of us went to Chocolate Buddha at Federation Square and had dinner. Fast, delicious, fun. It was a great night, and seriously, people, if you haven’t read that book, you need to. I actually have two signed copies to give away, so now is your chance!

THAT book is GREAT, actually everyone more or less interested in buddhism and loving the sea , surfing or sailing stuff should have read it. Jaimal describes perfectly the feeling of inner peace you can reach while surfing and /connecting this sport to a deeper spiritual quest. Just loved it.

To all those who don’t win the free book……pick it up anyway, I bought it this summer and it’s a great read. I won’t part with my copy, but this one will go to my best friend (a non-surfer but I love him just the same!!). Even if I don’t win, he’s getting it for Christmas, not many gifts better than this book.
