Sharkwater

I watched this last night, at lululemon (thanks, Gianna!)

It was really eye-openening. What got me most was that if sharks become extinct, and it seems they might if the shark-fin industry continues unchecked, they will no longer be controlling fish populations in the oceans, and those fish will eat more plankton, thereby reducing the world’s oxygen supply. That is a Big Deal.

Also, I know I am preaching to he converted, but a vegetarian diet is really a better option for the planet, in its current state. Or at least, thinking about how the animal products you eat came to be on your plate.

Nadine, thanks for posting about this. I saw a link about it on FB yesterday and watched the trailer, intrigued. I immediately put it on my Netflix list. I am looking forward to seeing it….
